DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Fuel to Go & Play Surf Squad will be run in the October school holidays on Tuesday\, 7 and Wednesday 8 October from 9am – 11am each day. \nFuel to Go & Play Surf Squad provides specialised surf and beach event coaching in a fun\, encouraging environment. It is suitable for any SLSWA member in age groups U13-U15 interested in improving their surf sports skills in a fun\, supportive environment across 2 days. \nBookings\n\nCost: $50 for the two days.\nLocation: Leighton Beach\, Fremantle\nRegistrations are now open via SurfTec (opens in a new tab)\n\nOcean Sessions\nOur Fuel to Go & Play Surf Squad Ocean Sessions will provide specialised board\, surf swimming\, and Ironman coaching from some of Western Australia’s top surf sports athletes. \nWhat will participants learn? \nTopics and skills covered in the program will include; \n\nCorrect technique\nBoard handling\nRace transitioning\nTraining knowledge\nPre-race preparation; and\nFinishing of races\n\nBeach Sessions\nOur Fuel to Go & Play Surf Squad Beach Sessions will provide specialised beach sprinting and flag coaching from some of Western Australia’s best surf sports coaches and athletes. \nWhat will participants learn? \nTopics and skills covered in the program will include; \n\nDrills/Pre event warm-up\nBeach sprint starts\nFlags\nRelay changes\n\nEnquiries\nSurf Sports
