Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

This course is suitable for educators, childcare workers, parents and carers who may need to respond to first aid emergencies involving infants and children, including asthma and anaphylaxis.

It may contribute towards approved first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training requirements under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

There are no formal entry requirements. You must be at least 14 years old and have a basic understanding of spoken and written English.

You must be able to perform at least two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an adult and child manikin on the floor, and an infant manikin on a firm surface.

Online learning and the knowledge assessment must be completed before the practical session.
